As we gather in community at Wayne State University we must acknowledge the land in which choose to gather and thank the space and peoples that have been stewards of the lands before us.

Wayne State University affirms Indigenous sovereignty and honors all tribes with a connection to Detroit. With our Native neighbors, WSU can advance educational equity and promote a better future for the earth and all people."
