Ask any student, staff, or faculty member what success means, and you likely will not hear the exact same answer twice. The way success is defined varies from day to day and from person to person - but one thing stays constant, and that is our understanding of how important it is to support our students as they work toward success! In our field, everyone, no matter their specific position contributes to our students being successful.
In education, everyone, no matter their specific position, contributes to our students being successful and contributes to the changing landscape of student success. As such, we invite you to submit program proposals for ACPA-Michigan's 2017 Annual Conference, #ACPAMI17: The Changing Landscape in Student Success to share how you are helping your students succeed!
This year’s conference will be held on October 22 and 23 in the Hagerty Conference Center at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City, Michigan.
Each program session will be 40 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes for evaluation, for a total of 45 minutes. Each programming room will be able to accommodate 45 attendees.
Each program is allowed a total of four (4) presenters. Only the primary presenter will be contacted regarding the status of their submitted program proposal, and will be the main contact for all future conference programming correspondence.
If the program is selected for the annual conference, each presenter must be registered for the conference by the registration deadline of October 6, 2017. Program submitters will be asked to provide their preferred day of presenting: Sunday, October 22, Monday, October 23, or either day. To be inclusive of everyone’s time, there will be an option for a one-day registration for either day.
Presenters will also be responsible for bringing any adapters needed to connect laptops to projectors.
PROGRAM PROPOSALS ARE DUE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 AT 11:59pm!
